Set up in 2017 to commemorate the fallen of the Great War from the Larne area and to propagate their memory, the society now has an interpretation centre open to the public by prior arrangement. Members regularly attend remembrance events and visit memorials and graves both within Northern Ireland and further afield and research is carried out into those who served. Since our formation, we have also donated several thousand pounds to various charities which care for ex-servicemen and women.
